In Nepal there is a region that is known for elephant polo, elephant soccer, and elephant trekking. Behind exploited elephants are mahouts who are struggling to survive in poor conditions, and elephant camp proprietors who exploit mahouts. Chrishina is a mahout who is on the verge of having to change his way of training elephants so that he can earn more money in order to support his family. But his 9-year-old son who has always been close to elephants has mixed feelings about his father choice. This documentary follows the two as they both struggle with the dark side of the elephant business.
