Networks study Looking Glass offering Discovery Networks, Viasat and various European broadcasters have picked up a slate of documentaries from Australian distributor Looking Glass International (LGI).
Discovery Europe has acquired When Castro Seized The Hilton (1x60'), produced by Norway's Frameline Films, while Viasat took Megawheel, a one-hour documentary exploring the construction of the world's largest observational wheel.
Megawheel has also been picked up by Danish pubcaster DR TV and Italian broadcaster Rai.
Swedish broadcaster UR TV has taken Raiders of the Sulu (1x60'), produced by Oak3 Films in Singapore; Seed Warriors (1x60'/1x90'), from Swiss-based iCan Films; and My Son The Pornographer (1x60'), produced by Gumboot Productions in Canada.
Finnish broadcaster Nelonen Media and Russian's First HD channel have also picked up properties from LGI.
